RMIT values diversity and offers flexible pathways to TAFE and Higher Education programs in Visual Art, Fine Art, Public Art and Arts Management. Indigenous art is also a key focus and strength of the school with Koori artists regularly meeting at the Indigenous Arts Unit in Bundoora.

We deliver our programs both internationally and via distance education, with undergraduate and postgraduate students studying across all of Australia and in Hong Kong, New Zealand and Vietnam.

Open Universities Australia offer students a flexible way to access higher education and enhance professional development through distance education. Through Open Universities Australia the School of Art offers units in Painting and Drawing.
Single and short courses
An RMIT single course is a single subject from an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program offered in Semester 1, Semester 2, Spring and/ or summer semesters. Single courses are an opportunity to enrol in a huge variety of university-level single subjects and experience studying at RMIT for a semester.
Short courses offer you the opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge in your chosen interest area. RMIT teachers are industry experts in their fields and are passionate about sharing their expertise.
