Careers Fairs

Careers fairs are opportunity to meet employers face to face and discuss your career options. Regardless of what year level you are in, you can start your career research at a careers fair. It’s a great opportunity to meet employers, find out about vacation work and graduate jobs, and to learn more about the industries you might want to work in. The key to impressing employers at these events is preparation.

Employer Presentations

Employer presentations are for employers who offer graduate or vacation work the opportunity to share information with you about their current job vacancies and recruitment processes.

Presentations include information about the nature of the company and the work, the training and development involved, the targeted disciplines, selection criteria and techniques that will be used to recruit students. Employers often bring recent RMIT graduates with them to speak about their work.

The peak times employers come onto campus are usually March and August.

They are a great networking opportunities. Do some background research on the organisation so you can ask informed questions and make a good impression.
