English as a second language

RMIT offers certificate level English as a Second Language programs. These programs are for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who wish to improve their speaking, listening, reading, writing and study skills.

The certificates may be used in conjunction with vocational programs. These flexible programs can be tailored to fit the needs of the learner and thus develop a pathway into employment or tertiary study. You will enter the program at a level appropriate to your needs, please refer to program guides or contact the school to find out which level program is suitable for your needs.
