Hardware Procurement

RMIT has arrangements for the acquisition of PC equipment and Apple computers through preferred suppliers. RMIT computer equipment is leased over three years and requests must be approved by the appropriate school/department prior to ordering.

All computer hardware orders must be directed to the IT Procurement Team within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement.

Preferred computer suppliers are:

• Desktop and notebook computers – Dell and Hewlett Packard
• Apple computers – Computers Now

Preferred computer suppliers also offer specials to staff and students looking to purchase computers for personal use.
