Study grants for careers practitioners at RMIT

RMIT University has been chosen as one of three institutions to provide the Graduate Certificate in Career Education and Development for current career practitioners.
The initiative is made possible by study grants from the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and the Federal Government.
Practitioners can apply for study grants of up to $4,800, which will be paid directly to the institution. The process is managed through the Career Education Association of Victoria (CEAV).
Michael Hastings, Program Director for the Graduate Certificate in the School of Education, said RMIT was at the forefront of program development and was working closely with the CEAV and industry, both nationally and internationally.
"Our program will benchmark the delivery of career advice to young people. It’s great to see the Federal and State governments support the professionalising of the career practitioner industry," Mr Hastings said.
The Graduate Certificate in Career Education and Development is run by full-time RMIT professional staff online via distance education mode, with and face-to-face time as required. RMIT academic staff support students through the program.
