Award of the degree/graduation
1. Procedures
Once a thesis/project is classified as passed, and once all the requirements of the Regulations have been met, and final archival copy submitted, the Research Committee shall recommend to the Academic Board that the candidate be now admitted to the appropriate degree. Once approval by Academic Board is given, the SGR will arrange for the final archival copy to be received by the Library. The SGR will then arrange with the Examinations, Awards and Graduations Unit for the graduation to occur.
2. Gradings
The awards of PhD, Master by Research, Professional Doctorate and PhD by Publication are made without gradings.
3. Doctoral Degrees
Doctoral degrees shall be awarded without any designation of field.
4. Master’s Degrees
