Scott Benesiinaabandan is an Anishinabe intermedia artist that works primarily in photography, printmaking and video. His work explores Indigeniety from a global perspective, centring on the impact of familial and communal relationships and nonconventional ways of knowing—dreaming, intuition and blood memory. Benesiinaabandan is the 2013 guest of the RMIT iAIR / University of Lethbridge Indigenous residency exchange.

19/06/2013 People who need people
This exhibition brings together the work of artists who are currently undertaking the Master of Fine Art program at RMIT Melbourne and Hong Kong. People who need people will explore experiences of daily life and the inherent complexities of human interaction. An exhibition of student artworks from the MFA program curated by Rhett D’Costa and Dr Laresa Kosloff.
