Practical guide to teaching

This guide highlights the approaches we take to learning and teaching at RMIT, and provides information and tips that can enhance your teaching. It will help you to plan and implement quality student learning, and to develop your capabilities as a teacher.

The focus of the guide is very much on the practical aspects of how teaching is conducted at RMIT: what we do, and how we do it.

Each topic presents an overview of the University’s approach to that particular aspect of learning and/or teaching and provides links to relevant resources, policies and guides. Real examples of RMIT staff applying good learning and teaching practice are also included, showcasing the range of approaches and resources available at the University.
