Microplatforms for Radio Frequency Applications
Microplatforms for Radio Frequency (RF) applications is a research theme of the Microplatforms research group.
We are a team of researchers adept at microfabrication, materials characterisation, and RF devices and systems (design, modelling, and implementation). Our mission is to develop microfabrication and characterisation capabilities to enhance RF device performance and to exploit the available microfabrication facilities for RF and electromagnetic devices and applications.
Our current research activities include:
- Metamaterials
- Flexible metal-polymer RF devices
- Silicon-based antennas
