TAFE final grades
There are three grading systems that apply to TAFE courses.
- Curriculum-based courses
- Courses delivered in accordance with competency-based assessment (including apprentices)
- Courses delivered in accordance with competency-based assessment, but which also utilise graded assessment

The following range of interim grades also applies to TAFE courses.

Deferred assessment – Denotes that a deferral has been granted to a formal examination or assessment via Special consideration. |

Extension of Time – Denotes that an extension of time of greater than seven calendar days has been granted via Special consideration. |

Not Complete – An interim result up until the end of 2001 academic year. Not used since that date. |

No assessment scheduled during the enrolment period - Final result where applied prior to 2002. From 2002 on this is an interim result and no longer used for TAFE. |

Pass 75 – 100 – Plumbing apprentices. Use was discontinued at the end of 2011. |
