Scholarships for commencing students

RMIT is committed to enriching and transforming the futures of our students and will award more than 2000 scholarships worth millions of dollars in 2013.

Below is a list of scholarships available to new international students. Scholarships include financial support for students from diverse backgrounds, rewards for academic excellence and scholarships for research students.

Foundation Studies

  • Foundation Studies Scholarship For international students enrolling in RMIT Foundation Studies; worth $4000 towards your tuition; applications close two months prior to study start date.

Diplomas and Certificates

  • AusAID Scholarships For international bachelor, masters by coursework and PhD students offering various scholarships and awards; worth tuition fees, stipend and more; open date varies by country.
  • Australia Endeavour Awards For local and international students, worth up to $263,500; Applications for the 2014 Endeavour Awards will open in April 2013.

Degrees

  • ACER Scholarship For international commencing undergraduate Business degree students at RMIT Campus, Melbourne; worth $25000 per annum for two to three years.
  • AusAID Scholarships For international bachelor, masters by coursework and PhD students offering various scholarships and awards; worth tuition fees, stipend and more; open date varies by country.
  • Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) scholarship For international students commencing undergraduate or postgraduate programs in computer science and information technology; worth $5000; applications now open.
  • Scholarships for high-achieving international applicants If you are an international student applying to study in one of the following programs at RMIT in Semester 2 2013 (July intake), this scholarship could pay a contribution towards your tuition fees.
