Industry collaboration at the School of Computer Science and IT
Through input from industry partners, we keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies and keep abreast of the graduate skill sets most in demand.
Meeting quarterly, the Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) includes representatives from industry and the school. The committee serves several purposes:
- Providing feedback on our courses and programs.
- A forum for discussing new programs and course amendments – RMIT policy is for all new programs to receive IAC endorsement.
- Industry contacts for research projects, internship placements, scholarships, and awards.
Working with the school offers many benefits to business, including training and workforce development, easy access to research, the provision of work-ready graduates and much more.
