Regulation 5.7.1 – Revocation of Awards Committee
Pursuant to Statute 5.7 Revocation of Awards the Council of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology makes the following regulation entitled Regulation 5.7.1 Revocation of Awards Committee.
1. The Council may establish a Revocation of Awards Committee where it determines that a prima facie case exists for revoking an award under section 5 of Statute 5.7.
2. The Revocation of Awards Committee will be comprised of three members of the Council.
3. If the Revocation of Awards Committee is established under Statute 5.7, it will investigate the facts of the case as it sees fit and make a recommendation to Council based upon the findings of its investigation.
A majority of the Revocation of Awards Committee must approve any recommendation made to Council under section 5 of Statute 5.7.
