Spatial Information Services and Surveying

At RMIT University, four nationally accredited training packages are offered in spatial information services - allowing students the opportunity to qualify at their preferred level of expertise.

In each course, tuition is provided in three inter-related fields: Surveying, Mapping and Geographic Information Services (GIS). The focus is on training within a simulated workplace environment and all coursework is project based. The delivery includes face to face teaching in classroom and computer lab, online teaching and practical teaching at Yarra Bend Park in Fairfield.

RMIT University is the only registered teaching organisation in Victoria with the capabilities to provide tuition in these four qualifications in Spatial Information Services.
