Research in Schools

The eight research schools located in the College of Science, Engineering and Health support innovation that underpins future economic, environmental and social development in the communities in which we operate within Australia and Internationally. Our research is characterised by excellence in internationally recognised strengths in outcome-related applied and theoretical research.

Research is mainly undertaken through collaborative projects with industry, government, and other research organisations in Australia and overseas which include activities encompassing research groups of highly qualified and experienced academic staff, research fellows, postdoctoral fellows and many talented and motivated postgraduate research students delivering useful, timely and cost effective outcomes that add value to economic, environmental and social capital.
