Programs
Juris Doctor
The RMIT Juris Doctor is a postgraduate law program leading to entry to the legal profession. Eligible students must possess an undergraduate degree (in any discipline except law). The program will be attractive to business and non-business graduates. While some students will be planning to seek admission as a lawyer at the completion of the program, others will be well established in their careers and will be undertaking the Juris Doctor in order to enhance their current career options.
MBA (Executive) and MBA (Executive) Online
The MBA (Executive) is for emerging managers looking to accelerate their careers. It includes all the core business courses you need, along with the ability to specialise in your chosen field. Complement your on-the-job experience with integrated and practical learning, to increase your opportunities for progression in your chosen career path. You can also enjoy the flexibility of studying at different times and online.
MBA
The MBA program is designed for students with limited work experience (typically less than 4 years since graduation). It is an intensive qualification designed specifically for today’s graduate and based on industry requirements. If you are motivated to progress your career and enhance your employment opportunities, this program provides the tools necessary for an accelerated career in management.
PhD and Master of Business (Research)
The RMIT Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master by Research programs provide an opportunity for suitable students to develop their research skills whilst collaborating with academic staff and professionals within industry, commerce and the community on research matters of mutual interest.
Allow two years full-time (four years part-time) for a Masters degree and three years full-time (six years part-time) for Doctoral studies.
Course delivery
The JD and MBA (Executive) programs have been designed primarily for part time study and as a result all classes are held in the evening or taught by intensive delivery over weekends or in short blocks of 4-5 days. However, students wishing to study full time are welcome to attend classes at these times. The MBA (Executive) and JD programs can also be studied online through OUA.
The MBA program is offered both full time (day time classes) or part time (evening classes), and through OUA.
Facilities
The Graduate School of Business and Law is located at the Emily McPherson Building (RMIT Building 13), a magnificent heritage property specially redeveloped as the Graduate School’s home in the centre of Melbourne’s CBD. The premises offer a dedicated environment for postgraduate learning with the latest in multimedia technology, teaching and meeting spaces especially designed for collaborative learning and executive education. including a computer lab, student lounges and multimedia classrooms.
