Construction of a Conditioned Laboratory and ESD treatment of Building 512 – a TIIFT-funded project

Project overview
A conditioned laboratory for textiles testing will be introduced to Building 512 on RMIT’s Brunswick campus.
The laboratory will be prefabricated offsite and will be an insulated cool room. Building 512 will also undergo an ESD (Environmentally Sustainable Design) treatment.
This project is funded by the Australian Government through the Teaching and Learning Capital Fund (TLCF) for Vocational Education and Training (VET).

The Conditioned Laboratory Project is now complete. This grant funded Conditioned Laboratory Project was due to be completed April 2010.
September 2009
All equipment for the conditioned laboratory has been ordered and components are being fabricated offsite.
