Teaching is delivered at both the City campus in Queensberry Street, Carlton and the Geo-Spatial Science Surveying Field Station in Yarra Bend Park, Fairfield.

Some classes are also delivered online. Students can attend these classes from home.

RMIT Link with the industry

RMIT University has a strong partnership with the industry. Industry Advisory Committee run twice a year and give RMIT the opportunity to show new learning materials and assessment tasks and gain validation for them.

RMIT regularly visits student workplaces and help gain feedback on training needs.

RMIT facilitates the placement of students in employment through registering students for placement on the trysurveying website and inviting industry partners to give guest speaking presentations.

RMIT is a partner in the national Registered Training Organisation that is currently working on improving the training packages in Vocational Education and Training across Australia

RMIT hosts industry seminar for the Surveying and Spatial Science Institute and the Surveying Taskforce.

RMIT hosts committee meetings of the Land Surveying Commission of the Surveying and Spatial Science Institute.
