RMIT was founded on public subscription and private benefaction and has a long tradition of support from industry, past staff, alumni, international foundations and committed individuals. The Development team works with the academic Schools of the University to seek and secure support for our Mission, and with the RMIT Foundation to ensure those donors’ wishes are met and funds are wisely managed.
The Advancement Services team is responsible for the management of the alumni and development database, The Raiser's Edge, and any associated products. A broad range of services are provided to the University to assist academics units to identify and connect with their alumni and donors.
