All sponsorships are subject to GST and are not deductible as charitable gifts. RMIT University will provide companies with tax invoices for all sponsorship payments received. It is suggested that companies seek independent advice regarding the deductibility status of sponsorship payments from their accountant or the Australian Taxation Office.
