Vision and mission

The RMIT Strategic plan is designed to set future objectives and priorities for the University. It guides the development of the Academic plan, the Research and Innovation plan and the annual Business plan. It also informs the development of college and portfolio work plans.

RMIT’s vision is to be:

• global in outlook and action
• urban in orientation and creativity
• the first choice provider of work-related learning in Australia
• one of Australia’s top research universities
